- For future residents living with us in the 27-28 academic year.
2026-2027 Academic Year

Last day to cancel housing and receive $200 back from $300 prepayment. |

Room Change Waitlist opens in the Housing & Dining Portal for students who want to pursue a room or roommate change prior to move-in. |
| July 20 (9 a.m.) |
Arrival planning form opens in the Housing & Dining Portal. Use this form to request early arrival or to pick your move-in timeslot if arriving on August 20. |
| July 31 | Room change waitlist closes at 12 p.m. (noon). |
| August 10 (9 a.m.) |
Residential parking privileges go on sale (Parking website). First-come, first-served. Choose your parking lot. |
| August 7 | Summer to fall moves |
| August 8-19 | Early Arrival Housing |
| August 16 | Last day to select your meal plan in the Housing & Dining Portal. |
| Aug 17 - Sept 4 | Meal plan changes accepted on website (Meal Plan Change Form). |
| Beginning August 17 | Students on the 160 meal plan may convert meals to Dining Dollars on the website. |
| August 20-23 | Move-in and Welcome Week |
| August 24 | First day of class. |
| September 7 | Labor Day Holiday - no classes. Office closed. |
| September 14 | - Room Changes begin - Single room waitlist opens on website. |
| Sept 28-OCT 3 | Homecoming Week |
| September 28 | Fall bills due |

If applicable, submit a housing accommodation request by this date if you are a new student for spring semester. |
| November 9 | - Thanksgiving Break registration opens. - Winter Break registration opens. |
| November 20 | - Last day to change rooms for fall semester. - Deadline to register for Thanksgiving Break Housing. |
| November 24 | Food service ends at 6 p.m. for Thanksgiving Break. |
| November 25 | Residence communities close at 9 a.m. for Thanksgiving Break |
| November 29 | Residence communities reopen at 12 p.m. (noon). The University Dining Center opens at 4 p.m. |

Fall deadline for 160 meal plan holders to convert meals to Dining Dollars. |
| December 11 | Residence communities close at 7 p.m. for Winter Break. Food service ends at 1:30 p.m. |
| December 17 | Spring meal plan changes accepted online (the Maverick 250 Dining Dollars plan is not available for selection). |
| December 25 | Spring 27 Housing cancellation deadline (to get $200 back from $300 prepayment). |
| January 4 | Parking Privileges for new spring residents go on sale at 9 a.m. in the Parking Portal. |
| January 8 | Residence Communities open at 8 a.m. for spring semester |
| January 22 | Last day to change your meal plan for Spring Semester. |
| January 25 | Room changes begin. |
| February 15 | Spring Break Registration opens. |
| March 1 |
If applicable, Submit a housing accommodation request by this deadline if moving in for fall semester. |
| March 5 | Residence Communities close at 7 p.m. for Spring Break. Food service ends at 6 p.m. |
| March 14 | Residence Communities reopen at noon. The Dining Center opens at 4 p.m. |
| March 15 | Summer Housing registration opens in the Housing & Dining Portal. |
| April 16 | Last day to change rooms for spring semester. |

| May 7 | Residence Communities close at 7 p.m. for end of term. Last day to use Dining Dollars. |

For Incoming 27-28 Residents (NEW STUDENTS)

| OCT 5 | Housing application opens for 27-28 housing reservations and Spring 27 housing for new students joining us in January 2027. |
| FEB 19 | Priority deadline. applying for housing by this date ensures you can choose your own roommate and room. |
| MAR 1-19 | Roommate Matching available to students who met the priority deadline. This is when you search and select your roommate. |
| APR 5-16 | Room Selection available to students who met the priority deadline. This is when you pick your room. |
| JUL 1 | Cancellation deadline to get $200 back from $300 prepayment. Cancellations received after this date forfeit their prepayment. |
