Future Students

Minnesota State Mankato will begin offering face-to-face tours and visits to campus again beginning on July 6, 2020. One of the key safety features you can expect is a requirement that all staff, students, and visitors wear face coverings during the visit.

Apply

We accept applications online or by mail. Completed applications, paper or online, must be submitted with all required materials no less than five (5) working days prior to the start of classes. Under certain circumstances the University may institute an earlier priority admission deadline.

New first year and transfer students may be eligible for scholarships from Minnesota State University, Mankato! Minnesota State University, Mankato is proud to offer merit and need-based scholarships to new first-year students through RaiseMe.

Admission Requirements

You will be admitted to Minnesota State University, Mankato if: You rank in the Top 50% of your high school class OR You have a GPA of at least a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) OR You achieve a 21 or higher composite score on the ACT exam (with satisfactory GPA).
