Honors Learning Community
The Honors Program supports two Learning Communities, one for first year students and one for upperlevel students.
The Honors Launch Learning Community is a great way for first year students to establish an academic and social connection with each other. Students in this LC will take HONR 201: Introduction to Honors together and have a variety of opportunities to participate in program activities outside of the classroom.
The Emerging Researchers Learning Community provides upperlevel students the opportunity to complete an interdisciplinary research project and fulfill their honors research competency through reflection on this experience. Students in this LC will take HONR 401: Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Research together, where they will work collaboratively in research teams to identify and carry out an undergraduate research project.
