The Fitness and Wellness program offers opportunities to promote long-term healthy lifestyle behaviors through participation in group exercise classes, fitness assessments, personal training, exercise plans, special events, fitness certifications, and continuing education.
Group exercise classes are free for all current students and Otto Recreation Center members.
Components of a fitness assessment include accessing body composition, cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility.
Individual and small group personal training packages are available for current students and Otto Recreation Center members.
NETA’s NCCA-accredited Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor Certifications are among the most respected in the fitness industry. Campus Recreation hosts, NETA certification and continuing education workshops on campus.
