Hosts Added to KMSU Jazz Overnight
Familiar names and new additions to host Jazz Overnight Programming beginning September 7th

KMSU has been producing our own Jazz Overnight programming for a few months now, and the response has been very positive. We've had a few listeners say that they wished that there was more hosted content during this programming so they could get information about the recordings and musicians, and we agree with them! Starting on Monday, September 7 (Labor Day), KMSU will be adding a mix of familiar and new voices during the week, as well as rebroadcasting some of our established Jazz programming to help soundtrack the early morning hours. These hosted Jazz Overnight hours will run from 5:00-6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with additional programming on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
THE SCHEDULE OF HOSTS:
MONDAY - Dr. Psychoacoustics, host of The Psychoacoustics Hour
TUESDAY - Dave Perron, host of FFFoxy Podcast and co-host of Free Form Freakout
WEDNESDAY - Minnesota Jazz legend Chaz Draper joins the KMSU roster!
THURSDAY - Chris Knott, host of Variety Hour's Earthly Remains program
FRIDAY - Phil Bryant, retired Gustavus professor and former host of KMSU's Soul Junction, returns!
SATURDAY - Drew Lyon, host of Good Juju Revue (6:00-6:30 a.m)
SUNDAY - A Rebroadcast of the Maverick Slim Jazz Show, hosted by Gary Campbell. (5:00-7:00 a.m.)
As an added bonus, you can now listen to Jazz Overnight programming on demand with the KMSU app for Apple & Android devices. It's a free download, and it lets you explore everything that KMSU has to offer, as well as stream the Minnesota Music Channel and Mav FM, the student run University radio station!
