Digital Accessibility

We are committed to making all digital content and technologies accessible to every member of our campus community and the general public. Digital accessibility means designing websites, documents, videos and digital tools that work for everyone—including individuals with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities.

Why Digital Accessibility matters

Accessible digital content supports student success, improves learning outcomes, and ensures our campus is inclusive and welcoming. It also helps mobile users, English language learners, and anyone using assistive technology.

Our Commitment

We follow federal and state laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. A new federal rule requires all University digital content to be accessible by April 24, 2026. These standards apply to websites, course materials, email communications, and other digital platforms used across campus.

Our commitment to digital accessibility is grounded in our values of diversity, equity, and inclusion. It’s not just about compliance—it’s about creating fair and inclusive digital experiences for everyone.
