Commencement Speeches

Today we recognize our graduates’ accomplishments. Our virtual commencement ceremony features President Davenport and all of the student commencement speakers that were scheduled to speak on graduation day.

Baccalaureate Honors

Baccalaureate students who have achieved high cumulative grade point averages are honored with the distinction of summa cum laude, magna cum laude or cum laude.

2020 Graduates

Part of what makes commencement special is the recognition that graduates receive as they cross the stage during the ceremony. While we can't read names out loud this year, we do want to publicly recognize each of our graduates for their academic accomplishments.

Faculty Honor Marshals

During our traditional commencement ceremonies, a highly regarded faculty member serves as an ambassador from each academic college and sits on stage with the platform party. This year, the faculty honor marshals from each college are represented here instead.
