Bachelor of Business Administration Online Degree Completion Program
Program Name: MavBiz
Type of Degree: Bachelor of Business Administration
The Bachelor of Business Administration provides a path to career advancement and leadership opportunities for those who have an associate degree in business from any two-year college. The program is set up to meet the needs of working adults and can be completed in two-and-a-half years.
That national average base pay for business administration positions is $50,125 per year, based on 450 salaries submitted to Glassdoor by Business Administration employees. Demand for these roles is increasing: for the quarter between March 2018 and June 2018, there was a reported increase of 233,000 jobs nationally.
Applicants must have an Associate of Science (AS) degree with a minimum of 60 credits. If the student does not have an AS degree in Business, there will be the option to complete the degree at a two-year institution partner. The total cumulative GPA must be equal to or greater than 2.0.
This program is tailored to working adults who aren’t able to attend traditional classes but want to complete a four-year degree in business administration. Each BBA course will be taught in a five-week session, one at-a-time. There are three consecutive courses during the fall semester, three more during the spring semester and two during the summer session.
Admitted students will begin the BBA program as members of a cohort who will take the same courses at the same time as their other cohort student peers. If the course sequence is taken without schedule interruptions, it’s possible to complete the 60 required credits in eight consecutive terms. If work or family commitments require taking a break from the program, a course can be taken in the future with a later cohort.
