What are E-Bikes?
Class 1
Best for recreation and trail riding; generally allowed on most bike paths, trails, and roads where traditional bicycles are permitted. Pedal assist up to 20mph.
Class 2
Ideal for urban commuting and riders with mobility limitations; allowed on most bike paths and roads, though some local jurisdictions may restrict them. Throttle assist up to 20mph.
Class 3
Designed for fast commuting; typically restricted from bike paths and trails, limited to roads and bike lanes, with stricter age and helmet requirements. Pedal assist up to 28mph
Are there any E-Bike Charging stations on campus?
Not currently as of May 2026.
Where can I park by E-Bike on Campus?
There are numerous bicycle rack locations to lock up your E-Bike on campus
Are E-Bikes different than E-Motos?
Yes. Maximum power of an E-Bike is 750W. E-Motos are over this limit. E-Bikes are battery and pedal assist.
