Winter Welcome Week

Winter Welcome Week is for all residents!

6 p.m. - Women's Hockey vs. Minnesota (Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center)
- Free for all students with MavCARD.

6:07 p.m. – Men's Hockey vs. St. Thomas (Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center)
- Free student tickets while supplies last; once all tickets are out, students can purchase a $5 reserved seat with MavCARD.

7-9 p.m. - Residence Hall Opening Community Meetings (Res Hall Floors). Check the bulletin board on your floor for your specific meeting time.

10:30-12:30 p.m. - Decorate your own donut (Preska Lobby)
6-8 p.m. - Meet the Greeks (CSU North Ballroom)
- Come meet our 6 fraternities and 4 sororities for our first event of the semester. It's never too late to join! Register for event.
8-9 p.m. - WOW: Winter Win-it Bingo (Res Hall Lobbies)

10:30 - 1:30 p.m. - Snowshoe Demo (CSU Mav Ave)
- Stop by our table on Mav Ave to learn about winter equipment rentals with Maverick Adventures. Try on a pair of snowshoes and take a stroll outside, if the snow allows. MSU students receive one FREE snowshoe rental each academic year.
11-1 p.m. - Winter Welcome at the Career Development Center
- QuickStop takeover, upcoming career events, employers coming to campus, and career resources.
7-9 p.m. - Stomper's Cinema: Top Gun Maverick & Trivia Competition (Ostrander Auditorium)
- Wear Maverick Gear.
7-9 p.m. - Glow with Consent Party (CSU Ballroom)
- Black light glow party with stations, activities, music, & lots of opportunities to explore consent.

All Day - Men's & Women's Track and Field (Myers Field House)
- Free for all students with MavCARD.
5:30 p.m. - Men's Basketball vs. Minnesota Duluth (Taylor Center)
- Free for all students with MavCARD.
6 p.m. - Women's Hockey vs. Ohio State (Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center)
- Free for all students with MavCARD.
7:30 p.m. - Women's Basketball vs. Minnesota Duluth (Taylor Center)
- Free for all students with MavCARD.

- Free for all students with MavCARD.

5-9 p.m. - Winter Festival Ice Skating (PA Lawn)
7-8:30 p.m. - Grocery Bingo (Ostrander Auditorium)
- Join RHA for annual Grocery Bingo. Win a variety of food-based gift baskets and gift cards to stock up for the semester.

11-2 p.m. - Smoothie Bikes at the Dining Center
3:30-5 p.m. - Crafternoons: Vision Boards (Women's Center)
5-9 p.m. - Winter Festival Ice Skating (PA Lawn)
7-9 p.m. - WOW: Patches & Pencil Pouches + RSO Fair (Res Hall Lobbies).
- Preska RSO Fair will run simultaneously 7-8 p.m.

4:30-6 p.m. - Sunset Snowshoe Hike (Otto Rec Center)
- Join Maverick Adventures on a sunset hike around the fitness trail. Snowshoes will be provided for this guided hike. Limited space available. Reserve a spot beginning January 5.
5-8 p.m. - Live Reindeer (PA Lawn)
5-9 p.m. - Winter Festival Ice Skating (PA Lawn)
7:30-10:30 p.m. - Welcome Back Bash (Maverick Bullpen)
- Join Fraternity & Sorority Life, the International Student Association, and the A Board for a Welcome Back Bash. Find out more about each group and enjoy free bowling, billiards, & snacks.
