Meal Plan Quiz

Meal plans are required for students living in the residence halls. The Housing Contract states that all contracts include a meal plan. The Maverick 250 Dining Dollars meal plan may only be selected through September 4, 2020.  After that date has passed, the only students who can change to this plan are students living at Stadium Heights or students moving to Stadium Heights.

2020-2021 Meal Plans

Fall and Spring Semester Plans

Students have many dining options available. Each plan has two components: a designated amount of meals to use in the dining center and Dining Dollars. Each meal plan determines the number of meals available for either the week or the semester (depending upon the plan chosen). Dining Dollars are like a prepaid debit account that can be used at any of the campus dining facilities.

Maverick AnyTime Plan

Proposed Rate for 20-21: $3,005 Academic Year ($1,467 Fall/$1,538 Spring)
Unlimited Dine-In Access / Includes 100 Dining Dollars Per Semester
This meal plan is the closest thing to having your own kitchen. This plan allows you unlimited access to the University Dining Center. You may also choose, instead, to put together a To-Go container to take with you outside of the dining center.

The $100 per semester in Dining Dollars can be utilized at any dining location on campus at any time of day. These Dining Dollars carry over from Fall Semester to Spring Semester. Dining Dollars not used by the end of Spring Semester will be forfeited.

Maverick 14 Plan

Proposed Rate for 20-21: $3,100 Academic Year ($1,515 Fall/$1,585 Spring)
14 Meals per Week / Includes 200 Dining Dollars Per Semester
This plan appeals to students who may only eat two meals each day or to those who want to eat all of their meals during the weekdays. This plan ensures that you have meals available to you in the dining center every week of the semester. One meal may be used during each of the three meal periods — breakfast, lunch (or brunch on weekends), and dinner. To-Go containers are available on this plan as well.

The $200 per semester in Dining Dollars can be utilized at any dining location on campus. These Dining Dollars carry over from Fall Semester to Spring Semester. Dining Dollars not used by the end of Spring Semester will be forfeited.

Maverick 160 Plan

Proposed Rate for 20-21: $2,806 Academic Year ($1,403 Fall/$1,403 Spring)
160 Meals per Semester / Includes 25 Dining Dollars Per Semester/ Ability to Convert Meals to Dining Dollars
This plan offers the ultimate flexibility to customize your meal plan. Start out with $25 Dining Dollars and an allotment of 160 meals for the semester, then eat as many (or as few) meals each week as you would like. Plus, add the unique ability to convert any of the 160 meals a semester into Dining Dollars at a rate of $5.90 per meal, twice a semester (by November 30 for Fall Semester and April 30 for Spring Semester). With this plan, you can determine whether you want more traditional meals in the dining center or greater flexibility with Dining Dollars to be used at any dining venue on campus. Also available is the ability to take a To-Go container out of the dining center. Semesters are approximately 16 weeks long, resulting in an average of 10 meals per week.

The $25 per semester in Dining Dollars can be utilized at any dining location on campus at any time of the day. Converted Dining Dollars can be utilized at any dining location on campus. Converted Dining Dollars not used by the end of EACH SEMESTER will be forfeited.

Maverick 250 Dining Dollars Plan

Proposed Rate for 20-21: $500 Academic Year ($250 Fall/$250 Spring)
250 Dining Dollars Per Semester / No Meals Included
The $250 per semester in Dining Dollars included with this plan can be utilized at any dining location on campus at any time of the day. These Dining Dollars carry over from Fall Semester to Spring Semester. Dining Dollars not used by the end of Spring Semester will be forfeited. Students are welcome to use their Dining Dollars to buy meals in the dining center at the door rate, as no specific number of meals are included in this plan. A limited number of these plans are available.
