Summer 2026 BBQ Lunch Special with S&B BBQ

Join us August 6, when local competitive BBQ vendor S & B BBQ will provide an on-campus BBQ lunch option, available for pick-up. S & B will also be featured at Mankato's 2026 Ribfest, taking place August 7-8 at Civic Center Plaza. Join us for this special event and enjoy some award winning BBQ!

This year, all meals are available on a pre-order basis, only, and we will collect payment ahead of time via this system. Meals will be available for pickup on Thursday, August 6, from 11:30-12:30.

Meals are $11 + tax, and include your choice of a pulled pork or pulled chicken sandwich and your choice of beans, chips, or coleslaw as a side.

Bus Trip: 2026 MSU Night @ The Twins Game

Join us on Friday, August 28, for MSU Night @ the Twins Game. This event is sponsored by MSU Student Activities, the Residence Hall Association, the Student Events Team, and the Centennial Student Union.

Game Time is 7:10 p.m. Our busses will depart from the main entrance of the Centennial Student Union between 4 and 4:15 p.m. Check-in will begin at 3:15 p.m.

Purchasing your ticket package through our event offers you the opportunity to travel with fellow Mavericks to and from Target Field, while enjoying a significant discount if you're an MSU Student.

Pricing is as follows:

MSU Students: $10 + tax (Limit 1 Ticket at this Price)
MSU Student Guest: $30+ tax (Limit 1 Ticket at this Price)
MSU Faculty/Staff/Additional Student Guest: $50 + Tax (Tickets Available for purchase on 7/30)
General Public: $55 + Tax (Tickets Available for purchase on 7/30)

Once purchased, tickets for this event are non-refundable.

This ticket package includes;

Reserved ticket in our group section (332) at Target Field
MSU/Twins Co-Branded Hat
Post-game fireworks
Bus ride to and From Target Field.
Snacks

Electronic tickets for the game will be issued upon check-in for the bus ride. Users will need to download the "Ballpark App" and provide the e-mail address associated with their account.

Due to the limited space for this trip, students who take advantage of this heavily discounted ticket package must agree to ride the bus with our group to and from the game. Failure to do so will result in an additional charge of $45, for a total charge of $55 + tax.

Family Weekend Pancake Breakfast

Join the fraternity and sorority community for a pancake breakfast fundraiser. All students, families, and community members are welcome. Tickets are available for $8 in advance or $11 the day of the event. Prices include all applicable sales tax and fees.
