For 50 years, Minnesota State University, Mankato has been home to one of the nation’s most impactful student leadership gatherings, and the only Pan African Conference and Festival of its kind in the country.

Conference Founder

The Pan African Conference and Festival is named in honor of Dr. Michael T. Fagin. Dr. Fagin is an emeritus professor and Pan African leader who has served and been a member of the Minnesota State University Mankato community for over 45 years.
