For 50 years, Minnesota State University, Mankato has been home to one of the nation’s most impactful student leadership gatherings, and the only Pan African Conference of its kind in the country.
Now, fifty years later, we carry that legacy forward, reflecting on a half century of excellence and preparing the next generation of student leaders who will go on to impact the world.
Conference highlights of the 50th Annual Dr. Michael T. Fagin Pan African Student Leadership Conference.
This year, our goal is to engage 1,000 student participants from Minnesota State University, Mankato and campuses across the region. It represents a strong, united gathering of student leaders coming together to learn, grow, and build lasting connections that extend far beyond the conference.
The Pan African Conference is named in honor of Dr. Michael T. Fagin. Dr. Fagin is an emeritus professor and Pan African leader who has served and been a member of the Minnesota State University Mankato community for over 45 years.
