Book Clubs
The BookMarks
The BookMarks Book Club meets in the Conference Room of Blue Earth County Library on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1pm. The group will be limited to about 15 members and is currently accepting new members. To join the group, contact the office at lifelonglearners@mnsu.edu or call 507-389-2011.
History and Science Book Club
The Lifelong Learners History and Science Book Club meets quarterly in March, June, September, and December. Please see the newsletter for exact dates and book titles.

Bridge Groups
Our Social Bridge group currently has two ladies’ groups meeting the third Monday of each month at the Wow Zone restaurant. There is room for additional tables, and we are always looking for subs as well.
Coffee and Current Events
Participate in a monthly discussion group of members who come together for informal conversations about current affairs. Steve Gilbert and Georgia Holmes host the discussions and hope they are a welcoming place where everyone helps one another try to make sense of the headlines and newscasts.
We meet by Zoom on the fourth Friday of each month from 10 to 11:30am. There is no fee or required preparation and no commitment to attend every month. To sign-up and receive the Zoom link for the next meeting, simply send an email to coffeeandcurrentevents@gmail.com. New members are always welcomed.

Enrich Your Creative Writing Workgroup
Looking to grow as a writer? Join our small, supportive group of writers who meet at 1pm. on the second Friday of each month to share work, exchange constructive feedback, and encourage one another. Together, we nurture confidence, creativity, and competence in the craft of writing. Materials needed: Pencil, Paper, Memories and Imagination! Please contact the office if you’d like to participate. This is hosted by Jeanne Epp. Location: Blue Earth County Library Conference Room, 100 E. Main St., Mankato.
First Friday Movie and Conversation
Lifelong Learners will be hosting a monthly movie and conversation event on First Friday afternoons at Pathstone Latitude and Landing, 115 Rogers St, Mankato. These on-going events will be free for Lifelong Learners members. Please contact the office for more information.
