Engagement Ambassadors
The MSU Engagement Ambassadors build meaningful connections with alumni, friends, employees, and members of the Maverick community. Through campus-based outreach, they help keep people connected to Minnesota State Mankato and share what is happening across the University.
Whether through a phone call, handwritten note, email, text, or event support, Engagement Ambassadors create opportunities to connect you with campus in meaningful ways.
Each Engagement Ambassador serves as an advocate for MSU students and the University. As current students, they see firsthand the people, programs, and opportunities made possible through the generosity of the Maverick community.
Building a Culture of Philanthropy
The Engagement Ambassador team is a highly engaged, donor-centered group of students focused on building relationships and strengthening connections across the Maverick community.
One of the many ways Engagement Ambassadors connect with alumni and friends is by phone. During the academic year, the team makes calls Sunday through Thursday from 5–8 p.m. Central Time.

Nina
Nina is a junior Software Engineering major from Azerbaijan who enjoys making and playing video games. She loves the Maverick spirit and getting to connect with Alumni, friends, staff, and families of Maverick students!

My favorite campus activity is being in the dance club. When I'm dancing, I feel like a completely different version of myself. The Learning Center is honestly such a helpful campus resource because you can get free tutoring from other students who've already taken the class and get it. It just feels way less intimidating than struggling on your own.
