How will this scholarship help you?

This scholarship will greatly reduce my study expenses. It also gives me the inspiration and motivation to study hard and strive for success, so I can be a good example for others. I am very proud to have received this scholarship.

Why did you choose to study at MSU, Mankato?

1. Quality of the Program I want to study physical therapy, and the fact that Mayo Clinic is part of the university is a huge plus for me. This meets my goals perfectly because it gives me the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience at a world-class institution.

2. Facilities The university has amazing facilities. The student lounge on the lower floor of the CSU building is incredible and a great place for students to relax. There are also many other impressive things that will help me study and learn more effectively.

What is your advice for other students that want to apply for this scholarship?

Research scholarships thoroughly, as the university offers many opportunities to support international students. Also, don't be afraid to ask for help, because people here are very kind and always willing to assist you.

What is your favorite spot at MSU so far?

The student relaxation areas on the bottom floor of the CSU building and golf facilities room.

What was your biggest culture shock?

I was surprised by how easily Americans greet and become friendly with each other, even without knowing one another beforehand.
