University Advising's Student Success Academy
The Student Success Advising Academy is a comprehensive professional development program designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to foster effective and meaningful interactions with students, regardless of their role on campus. The Academy runs from fall through spring and is structured into three progressive levels: Basic, Advanced, and Expert. Upon completing each level, participants will be awarded a Student Advising Academy Badge from Credly.
This program is designed for:
- Faculty entering their second year at MSU
- Staff members at any point in their MSU Career
- Faculty and staff who want to revamp their advising practices
This program contributes to Criterion 4: Student Growth and Development and Criterion 5: Service to the University and Community, as outlined in IFO Article 22.
