Part Two: Innovative Grading Strategies: Enhancing Equity and Access in Your Courses

This interactive session provides dedicated time and space for participants to revamp the grading system used in one of their courses to promote equity and access. Participants will be introduced to the four pillars of alternative grading and explore strategies such as standards-based grading, contract grading, and ungrading. Through a mix of structured activities and guided discussions, each session will support participants in rethinking and revamping the grading system for one of their courses.

Faculty will receive one duty day for completing this portion of summer professional development.
