Welcome!

I am Anne Dahlman, the Interim Dean of Global Education at Minnesota State University, Mankato.  Our university is a vibrant global learning community with students from over 90 countries.  In Global Education, we assist students, both incoming international students and outgoing education abroad/away students, with their dreams to study abroad. We can help students with admission to the university and their ongoing studies on campus, whether they are starting as regularly admitted students or beginning their journey at our Intensive English Program first to build up their academic English proficiency to get ready for studies in a degree program. Students can also come just to study English through short-term or semester-long experiences.

In addition to students, we are here to serve all academic departments and faculty in their pursuit to learn about other cultures, to infuse global themes into many components of campus life or to lead faculty-led education abroad programs for students. Global Education offers various kinds of funding to support faculty with these endeavors.
