The Office of New Student and Family Programs connects students and their families to resources, services and opportunities they need at Minnesota State Mankato. We ease the transition to college life, ensure students and their families are comfortable on campus, and help develop the confidence students need to achieve their goals. Our goal is to provide students with tools for life-long success.
Minnesota State Mankato provides Orientation and Registration programs for all incoming students to help make a successful transition to the University.
The Office of New Student and Family Programs sends periodic updates to family members that are subscribed to our email newsletter. These messages inform families of important issues, events, and dates in the University community.
The purpose of the Early Alert Referral is to give faculty, staff, students and/or parents the opportunity to refer a student who has an academic concern such as excessive absences, a failing letter grade, or concerning behavior.
The family program keeps families up to date with their student, promotes support for students, and involves families in the Maverick experience.
