Tabling at Minnesota State Mankato

Minnesota State Mankato has a wide variety of tabling options for Departments, Recognized Student Organizations (RSO), and the Mankato community. Please see the options below.

Centennial Student Union MavAve

• 12 locations available
• MSU departments and RSOs
  • RSO and Departments may reserve up to two tabling sessions per week and no more than three weeks in advance.
  • If a table space is open, RSOs and Departments may request an additional table in person for that specific day.

• Only available to and free for MSU departments and RSOs

Indoor Marketing at Minnesota State

Minnesota State Mankato has different methods for university affiliated groups to display print promotion. Please see the options below.

• Poster Distribution
  • Minnesota State Mankato affiliated groups are eligible to post posters on general posting boards.
  • Please review all of the posting requirements online.
  • Must meet all branding templates.
• Student Union Sign Holders
  • 8 locations available
  • Free for MSU departments and RSOs
  • Each sponsoring organization can reserve one poster holder for up to two weeks.
  • Reservations available via email university.scheduling@mnsu.edu or by phone 507-389-2223.
  • Must meet all branding templates.

• Student Union Display Case
  • 3 locations available
  • Location between Maverick Bookstore and Student Activities
  • Free for MSU departments and RSOs
  • Each sponsoring organization can reserve all three cases for up to two weeks once a semester.

Outdoor Marketing at Minnesota State Mankato

• Sandwich Boards
  • Free for MSU departments and RSOs
  • RSOs and Departments may post A Frame sandwich boards on campus without prior approval. Each organization must supply their own sandwich boards.
  • RSOs may check out sandwich boards through Student Activities in person (CSU 173) or over the phone at 507-389-6076.
  • Sandwich boards must not impede entrance or exit to any building.
  • Must meet all branding templates.
  • During Winter, sandwich boards must be moved to allow for snow removal.
• Sidewalk Chalk
  • Free for MSU departments and RSOs
  • RSOs and Departments may use chalk to display messaging on University sidewalks with approval from University Scheduling and Conference Services.
  • Chalk must not be placed under any overhangs or on any university building or walls.
• Table Tents – University Dining Center Only
  • Free for MSU departments and RSOs
