Education:
I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Health Informatics and Data Analytics. My background in Health Administration and Economics has given me a strong foundation in understanding healthcare systems, data-driven decision-making, and organizational management. I aspire to work in health consulting or as a healthcare analyst, applying data insights to improve hospital operations and patient outcomes.
What I like about being an SSC:
I enjoy being an SSC because it allows me to support students directly, help them navigate university processes, and create a positive campus experience. I take pride in being a resource and guide for others, and it inspires me to be creative in problem-solving for students. Additionally, I can bring my master’s-level data analytics skills to improve systems and processes, making campus operations more efficient and effective.
What I like about being a Maverick:
I love supporting the hockey team and other sports teams, cheering them on during our spare time. Being a Maverick allows me to show school pride and be part of a community that celebrates achievement and teamwork.
Favorite SSC memory/experience:
Creating engagement activities that make the student experience exciting while living on campus. These events allow me to bring students together, foster connections, and make campus life more enjoyable.
Professional Development/Involvement/Interests:
I am an active member of the DREAM Student Organization and regularly attend healthcare and finance conferences. I volunteer with Hillside Church, coordinating community service events, and serve as a Red Cross Ambassador, organizing blood drives and health awareness campaigns. These experiences help me develop professionally, give back to others, and stay connected to both the healthcare field and the broader community.
Position Balance and Academics:
Balancing my responsibilities as an SSC with my graduate coursework has strengthened my time management, creativity, and leadership skills. Mentoring new students while planning events allows me to make real, impactful changes while keeping my academic performance strong.
My Professional Dream:
I aim to work as a healthcare consultant or analyst, helping hospitals improve patient care systems and operational efficiency. I also hope to leverage insights from this work to support innovative projects at my family business, Mathe Land Surveys.
Hobbies:
I enjoy golf, traveling, exploring new and fun activities, horse riding, visiting wineries, and volunteering. For example, I recently helped coordinate a community clean-up event through Hillside Church, which was both fun and impactful.
