What I Like about Being a Maverick
-
I enjoy being able to connect with students from around the world, learning about their cultures, and discovering what inspired them to become Mavericks. I also appreciate the vibrant campus life. There is always something happening and something for everyone to get involved in.

Professional Development/Involvement/Interests
-
I am passionate about supporting international students in successfully integrating into their new living and learning environments. My primary focus is examining the challenges they face and the contributing factors to propose effective solutions. I presented at the NASPA 2025 conference and am currently working on publishing several research articles and contributing to a book chapter. In addition, I am interested in researching how to best support students from rural backgrounds. I look forward to continuing my professional growth by attending and presenting at more conferences.

Hobbies

I enjoy spending time in nature and feel especially energized when near water, whether it’s a lake, pond, river, or beach. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places.
