Education:
I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in Spring 2024. I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
What I like about being an SSC:
I enjoy supporting students in both their residential and academic journeys. As an SSC, I get to work closely with a diverse team, help build community, and make sure things run smoothly behind the scenes. It’s rewarding to know that my work directly impacts students’ daily experiences on campus. One of my favorite experiences so far has been training and working with Desk Assistants during move-in. The energy and teamwork really set the tone for the year, and it’s always exciting to see new students settle in.
What I like about being a Maverick:
Being a Maverick means being part of a community that values connection, leadership, and growth. I’ve met people from all over the world here, and the sense of support—both academically and personally—makes MNSU a special place from my undergraduate times.
Position Balance and Academics:
Balancing my SSC role with graduate studies can be challenging, but I rely on careful scheduling and time management. I make it a priority to stay organized and communicate proactively with my team and supervisors to ensure both my academic responsibilities and my SSC duties are met effectively.
My Professional Dream:
My goal is to work in the technology and engineering sector, ideally in a role that allows me to combine my technical background with leadership and project coordination. I’m passionate about solving complex problems and working on impactful projects.
Hobbies:
I enjoy playing badminton and guitar in my free time—they’re a great way for me to relax and recharge. I also love staying up to date with the latest gadgets and innovations, whether it’s exploring new tech trends or trying out new devices. Beyond that, I enjoy diving into creative projects that let me combine my technical interests with fun.
