The community reading book will be Big Chief by Jon Hickey. Pick up your free copy of the book at either the Blue Earth County Historical Society or the Blue Earth County Library.
Synopsis

Set within a fictional tribal nation, the story follows a young tribal leader navigating political pressures, personal relationships and the responsibility of serving his people. Blending humor, tension and heart, Big Chief offers a compelling look at sovereignty, belonging and what it means to lead while staying connected to community and culture.
