DREAM Information Technology Career Event

This career event is being hosted by our local student organization group called Data Resources for Eager and Analytical Minds (DREAM). It has over 300 student members who focus on data science, data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, information technology, and computer science. The event is also being greatly supported by the Computer Information Science department, which has about 900 students, including over 140 graduate students.

The event is open to all students from any major exploring and actively seeking employment within the information technology (IT) industry.

The purpose of this event is to:

• Allow all Maverick students and alumni to explore the opportunities that exist within the information technology industry while gaining professional job seeker advice from industry partners.
• Network with IT professionals in data science, software, design, etc.
• Connect students who are actively seeking internships, part-time or full-time job positions to employers offering opportunities.
