This is Sam's 10th year as a Program Coordinator in Campus Recreation. Sam coordinates the Maverick Adventures program, which provides teambuilding and leadership development for the university and surrounding community.
Maverick Adventures operates the High Ropes and Challenge Course located on the south side of campus as well as the outdoor pinnacle and the indoor climbing wall in Myers Field House. Maverick Adventures also offers local trips and outdoor equipment rental.
Education
Sam received his bachelor's degree from the University Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2001 and his master's degree in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2006.
Off-campus Experiences
In his spare time he enjoys photography, travel, the outdoors, time with wife and twins, and is an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
