Once an organization has initially been established, Minnesota State University, Mankato has an annual recognition renewal process for student organizations.

Annual Recognition starts August 1st and ends on September 30th.

How to Re-recognize An Organization

To renew an RSO, complete the following steps:

1. Visit MavLife to access your group's registration.
   
   The request for recognition includes the following:
   • Update Organization Name and Purpose
   • Update Roster (requires at least 5 current Minnesota State University, Mankato students)
     • The following officer positions must be filled:
       • President
       • Vice-President
       • Treasurer
       • RSO Advisor (Minnesota State University, Mankato employee)
   • Update Constitution

2. At least two Officer needs to complete the "Officer Checklist" attached to your registration form and one officer must attend an in-person training.
