Steve Jameson has been the publisher of the Mankato Free Press for nearly 10 years. He’s 
been in the newspaper business for more than 25 years, working for newspapers in California, Iowa, Virginia and Minnesota. Steve grew up in Blaine, Minnesota and served for four years in the Air Force right out of high school. After his service he received his English degree from the University of Minnesota. He added a Master of Business Administration degree in 2013. Steve’s wife Susan is the Administrative Assistant for the President of South Central College. Steve and Sue have two adult daughters that live on their own, one is St. Paul and the other in Grand Mound, Iowa.
