League of Women Voters Candidate Discussion

Mankato voters will have an opportunity to hear directly from local candidates at two upcoming candidate forums sponsored by the League of Women Voters. A Mankato Area School Board (ISD 77) forum is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, at 6 p.m., followed by a Mankato Mayor and City Council forum on Thursday, October 1, at 6 p.m.

The city forum will focus on candidates for mayor and City Council Wards 1, 3, and 5. These forums will only be available on video because of security concerns, so we are offering an opportunity for the community to watch them together and discuss current issues afterward. This is a chance to learn more about these candidates as well as to share common concerns.
