Tune in at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 26th (Memorial Day) for a deep dive into Minnesota's rich Garage band history. Your tour guides will be music historians Tom Tourville and John Kass. KMSU host Shelley Pierce asked them to pick their ten favorite songs from the Garage genre, and for two hours we'll hear the songs they love and why they love them. The selections are from all across the state, including bands like Mankato's own The Gestures and Prince & the Paupers, as well as other notables like The Dealons, The Castaways, The Grasshoppers, The Unbelievable Uglies, and so many more.

Listen at 89.7 fm/91.3fm/kmsu.org or with the KMSU app for Apple & Android devices.
