Shyboy Tim and Shelley dedicate three solid hours to an incredibly American sub-genre of rock and roll! All the hodads and gremmies will reach top end with this all surf music edition of the Shuffle Function Morning Show. COWABUNGA!

9:00 AM - 10:00 AM - NATE BOOTS SPOTLIGHT
Minnesota Music Channel programmer Shelley Pierce interviews Kato area musician Nate Boots about his life and music, with a spotlight on his brand new album 'A Stretch of Wing, a Leap of Faith'. 

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM - MINNESOTA ORIGINAL MUSIC FESTIVAL SHOWCASE
Tune in for a preview of acts that you'll be able to see at the 2025 Minnesota Original Music Festival, which takes place on July 19th & 20th in the Minnesota Square Park Pavillion in St Peter, MN. Hear music and interviews from bands that will be featured during the festival.

ON THE MMC:
NOON - 5:00 PM - FOUNTAINEERS RADIO DRAMAS
Starting at noon you can hear chapters of the Dark Flamingo, the latest Fountaineers KMSU Radio Drama Troupe production, at the top of each hour. Episode One kicks off the noon hour, with successive chapters kicking off the following hours.

7:00 PM - MIDNIGHT - MN MUSIC HISTORY SPOTLIGHTS
Minnesota Music Channel programmer moderates lively discussions on Minnesota music featuring music historians Tom Tourville and John Kass. At 7:00 PM they'll discuss the heyday of ballrooms throughout the sate, followed at 8:00 PM by two hours on the history of Minnesota Surf music. The evening will wrap up at 10:00 PM with a discussion of John & Tom's all time favorite Minnesota Garage music.
