About Writing Across the Curriculum
The aim of the Writing Across the Curriculum Program is to:
- Offer programming that boosts faculty interest, confidence, and skill in assigning and teaching writing in the disciplines
- Advocate for university policies and processes that promote best practices in teaching writing across the curriculum
- Lead meaningful, faculty-driven writing assessment projects that drive instructional, curricular, and programmatic improvement
The WAC Program fulfills its mission through the leadership of the Writing Across the Curriculum Coordinator and the Writing Advisory Committee.
