Homecoming Weekend Alumni Activities (September 26-27)
Schedule of Events
Friday, September 26
5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. New this year! Homecoming carnival in parking lot 20A (located on Warren Street across from Bowyer Field). The carnival will run from 5-10 p.m. Friday and from 3:30-8 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets: $15 for general public, $10 for alumni, $5 for children (Ferris wheel and slide only).
Tickets are available at MNSUEvents.com. Free parking is available beginning at 4:30 p.m. Friday in all gold and dark green lots on campus.
8:20 p.m. Homecoming bonfire (free to the public) with free fireworks starting at 8:40 p.m.
Saturday, September 27 (Homecoming Day)
10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Homecoming Parade (check out the route)
Visitors can enjoy some fun leading up to the parade on the Performing Arts Center lawn. Then sit along Maywood between Ellis Avenue and Warren Street to watch the parade, with easy access back to the fun when it's done!
11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Mavericks on the Mall by the Fountain featuring Pancakes with the President, games, music, Caricatures by Casey, face painting, petting zoo, college and department tabling and more!
2:00 p.m. Maverick Football vs. University of Sioux Falls
