Danielle Duffey, Assistant Director, Events '08

Danielle returned to the Alumni Relations team as Assistant Director for Events in 2026. A proud Maverick and graduate of the College of Business, she is also an Army Reserve veteran and Mankato native with a deep-rooted connection to campus. With a strong commitment to her alma mater, she previously served on the Alumni Association Board before joining the University as staff. 

Danielle leads alumni engagement through the planning and execution of events and programs that foster connection among Mavericks near and far. She is known as a compassionate connector who values authentic relationships and creates spaces for meaningful connection. 

“Creating opportunities for Mavericks to reconnect—with each other and with their experiences at MSU—is what makes this work so meaningful to me.” 

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and is currently pursuing her Master of Education in College Student Affairs.
