Why did you choose your college major?

For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in science, particularly aquatic biology. I participated in the Hutton Fisheries Program in High School and came to really enjoy the fisheries field. A few undergrad classes in, I found the field of Toxicology and the rest is history! 

Why are you passionate about advising?

Seeing students succeed is super rewarding! As an academic advisor, I get to co-navigate with students to get to where they want to be, whether it is with academic status or undecided majors! We all have different paths in our academic journey. I’m excited to work with students to figure out part of that path! 

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Blue Moon!!

Fun fact:

My favorite freshwater fish are the darters! They come in all sorts of colors, while some can even tell you about the water quality in an area!
