Welcome… I’m your LCC, Katelyn Daravingas!

I am so excited to meet you the fall.  I will be a resource for you as you navigate through your first year of college here at Minnesota State University, Mankato!  Being involved with the Aviation learning community will help you academically as well as socially, so utilize me and your peers as much as you can!

Major: Aviation

How/what made you decide this major? Growing up, I have always been surrounded by airports and airplanes as I had a parent in the industry. As I got older, flying became extremely interesting to me and I decided to take a discovery flight my sophomore year of high school to see if it would be something I would like to pursue as a career. I had a blast during my discovery flight and I knew aviation was for me. The rest is history!

Favorite Food: Pasta

Advice for LC Students: Stay organized throughout the year to keep on top of schoolwork, flights, and anything else you choose to invest time into as well as get involved on campus!

Favorite thing about MSU: I love all the different opportunities offered at MNSU for students so they can grow and succeed individually.

Campus/LC Involvement: LCC for Aviation majors, Letters of Love Club, and Women in Aviation/Aviation Club, Handball club.

Favorite thing to do in Mankato: Fly, go to chipotle, and shop at Target.

Favorite things to do outside of school/coursework: Spend time with friends and family.
