Institutional Analytics and Strategic Effectiveness serves as the official source of data about the University's students, faculty, and staff; its programs and their effectiveness; its resources; and its peer institutions.
Includes institution and student related information to a department and program level on awards, enrollment, program declarations, credit hours, student persistence and completion and much more.
The Office of Institutional Analytics and Strategic Effectiveness manages the institutional course evaluation system at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Institutional data and information is available via Annual Data Summaries, Common Data Sets, and Integrated Postsecondary Education Data Sets.
The Data Glossary has been created by Minnesota State University, Mankato Data Governance Work Group within the institutional effectiveness charge of the Assessment and Evaluation Sub-Meet and Confer in order to establish information context by documenting approved institutional definitions.
The U.S. Department of Education’s gainful employment regulations require disclosure of certain program information to students and prospective students in order to maintain federal financial aid eligibility for students enrolled in “gainful employment” (GE) programs.
The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) requires that institutions publish student achievement data. Such information might include graduation rates, job placement rates, certification exam scores, and so on, depending on the nature of the institution's academic programs.
