Oct. 4: Minnesota State Mankato hosts performance by Minnesota River Wind Ensemble

MANKATO, Minn. — The Minnesota River Valley Wind Ensemble, directed by Amy Roisum Foley, will perform Sunday, Oct. 4 at 3 p.m. in Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Halling Recital Hall, 320 Maywood Ave., Mankato.

The Minnesota River Valley Wind Ensemble brings together musicians from Mankato and surrounding communities to perform a wide range of traditional and contemporary wind ensemble literature. The ensemble features woodwind, brass and percussion musicians from throughout the region.

Under Foley’s direction, the ensemble is committed to providing high-quality musical experiences for both performers and audiences while celebrating the rich tradition and versatility of wind band music.
