March 1: Minnesota State Mankato Hosts Winter Choral Concert

MANKATO, Minn. –The Minnesota State University, Mankato winter choral concert will take place on Sunday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (632 South Broad St., Mankato). The performance features the Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and the University Chorale. Elisabeth Cherland conducts the Concert Choir and Chamber Singers, and the University Chorale is conducted by Bri Bergstrom.

The winter concert theme is “My Heart Be Brave,” featuring works by Marques Garrett, Jennifer Lucy Cook, Jester Hairston, Sarah Quartel and W. A. Mozart.

Concert admission is $10 for general admission and $7 for K-12 students. University students are admitted free with a valid MavCARD. Advance purchase is strongly encouraged. Those who wish to purchase tickets online should go to hss.mnsu.edu/music-events.
