A day for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, queer, asexual, intersex, Two-Spirit, and all other identities on the sexuality and gender spectrums to be proud of who you are and your support for the LGBTQ+. It's also a day to show those questioning or not ready to come out that you are seen and valued.
National Coming Out Day was first observed on October 11, 1988, on the anniversary of the National March in Washington D.C. for Lesbian and Gay rights as a reminder that one of the most basic tools to promote awareness and acceptance is the power of coming out.
