All students can enjoy their first night at or back to college on the dance floor at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The featured event after Residence hall move in day, Club Maverick features a once in a lifetime experience with lights, mocktails, and crazy dancing! Come join us and meet someone new!
The music and DJ lights will start up at 9:00 p.m. on August 17th in the CSU Ballroom.
A staple Welcome Week event, Club Maverick is a fun and safe way for students to celebrate their first night at college or returning from summer break. Every year, the event has a different DJ and this year’s dance will feature DJ ONES.
The event will have a lot of DJ and party lights to give the Ballroom a club look. Also, the first 500 students to show a text sent out by the Student Events Team’s free texting service will get a free LED glow wand that they can use throughout the event and bring back to their dorm room at the end of the night. There will also be free mocktails and water at the event to keep students hydrated and dancing.

Students will need their MavCARD to get into the event. Backpacks are allowed. No outside food for beverage will be allowed.
