Homecoming Concert 2019: SuperDuperKYLE

MANKATO, Minn. – Hip-Hop artist KYLE will perform Friday, Oct. 4 on the Summit and Jacob Heights stage in Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Myers Field House during the University’s Homecoming week. The performance will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Myers Field House with an artist to be announced.
 
KYLE is a hip-hop artist best known for his single “iSpy” featuring Lil Yachty. The song reached its peak position at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. Another well-known song of his, “Playinwitme” can be found on his debut studio album, “Light of Mine” that was released in May 2018. Light of Mine debuted at number 29 on the Billboard 200.
 
Kyle has collaborated with artists such as Kehlani, Lil Yachty, G-Eazy, Chance the Rapper, Miguel, Ty Dolla Sign, and among others.
 
Tickets go on sale Friday, August 23 at 12 pm. Student tickets cost $15, Student guest tickets cost $25. Limit one ticket per student. Tickets will be available to the public for $35.
VIP tickets cost $50 and provide access to the VIP party before the concert which includes food and early entry to the concert. Tickets will be available for purchase online at mnsuevents.com or in person at the Student Activities Office, in CSU 173
 
The concert, presented by Minnesota State Mankato’s Student Events Team and radio station Hot 96.7, is for all ages.
 
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. on concert night, and there is no re-entry to the concert once a patron leaves. Parking will be available in Lot 20. No outside food, beverages, backpacks or flash photography is allowed. Minnesota State Mankato bans weapons on campus and is an alcohol-, drug- and tobacco-free campus. Use of substances will result in removal from the concert.

Minnesota State Mankato’s Student Events team is a student-led organization that produces fun, interactive and educational events for students to create lifelong memories and celebrate their Maverick pride. The Student Events Team meets every Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Centennial Student Union 245, and students interested in joining or volunteering with the group are welcome to attend the meetings.
