Sept. 3: Minnesota State Mankato to Celebrate Grand Opening of Maverick Innovation Gateway

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato will celebrate the grand opening of the Maverick Innovation Gateway, Powered by Nidec (230 Stadium Road, Mankato) on Wednesday, Sept. 3 from 9-11 a.m.

The event is free and open to the public, and free parking will be available across the street in Purple Lot 21 North. RSVPs are requested, but not required.

The Maverick Innovation Gateway, Powered by Nidec is a new hub for entrepreneurship, collaboration and innovation at Minnesota State Mankato.

MSU announced Dec. 4 that Nidec pledged $2 million over 5 years to the University for a new Maverick Innovation Gateway and Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship programming.

The Maverick Innovation Gateway, Powered by Nidec is home to several high-impact programs within the University’s College of Business that are intended to provide students interdisciplinary and hands-on learning opportunities through direct engagement with faculty and industry experts.
