MANKATO, Minn. – PK Mayo will perform as part of Minnesota State University, Mankato's Performance Series on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Elias J. Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts, 320 Maywood Ave.

PK Mayo (Paul Mayasich) has performed from Greece to Belgium, from New York to San Francisco playing festivals, theatres, night clubs and concert halls. PK Mayo won a Minnesota Music Award, best blues recording, for his song,  “Arms of the Blues.” Over his career, he has fronted for Johnny Lang, Los Lobos, Shannon Curfman, Big Walter Smith and Bernard Allison. His slide guitar style has been compared to Duane Allman, Lowell George and Ry Cooder.

Concert admission is $10 for general admission. University students are admitted free with a valid MavCARD. Advance purchase is strongly encouraged.
