MANKATO, Minnesota – The Choral Invitational Festival Concert presented by Minnesota State University, Mankato will take place on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 632 South Broad St., Mankato, Minnesota.

The concert features the University concert choir, chamber singers, Elisabeth Cherland, conductor; the Eastview High School concert choir, Greg Douma, conductor; and the Waseca High School concert choir, Megan Kreinbring, conductor.

Director of Choral Activities Elisabeth Cherland says, “The festival is an opportunity to showcase the talents of excellent schools.”

Cherland says, “Among the important truths we’ve learned over the past few years is that we need each other. We need human connection and we benefit from being together.”

Concert admission is $10 for general admission and $7 for K-12 students. University students are admitted free with a valid MavCARD. Advance purchase is strongly encouraged.
