MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato will present a contemporary vocal concert Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. at the Elias J. Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts, 320 Maywood Ave.

Minnesota State Mankato’s competitive a cappella group, Maverick Vocal Precision, is directed by faculty members Christi Smith, Stephanie Thorpe and Nick Wayne. The concert will be choreographed by Nathan Barker.

Maverick Vocal Precision will sing holiday favorites like “That's Christmas to Me” by Pentatonix and “12 Days of Christmas” by Straight No Chaser. The program also features other high-energy a cappella arrangements and holiday solos.

Thorpe says, “The upcoming concert for Maverick Vocal Precision will be a vibrant addition to the holiday season! Come see and hear our talented singers.”

Concert admission is $10 for general admission and $7 for K-12 students. University students are admitted free with a valid MavCARD. Advance purchase is strongly encouraged. Those who wish to purchase tickets online should go to hss.mnsu.edu/music-events.
