MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Wind Ensemble will perform Thursday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Elias J. Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts, 320 Maywood Ave. The group is directed by Amy K. Roisum Foley.

This year’s concert is titled “The Spirit of the Season.” The program includes engaging music from around the world as well as lively celebratory odes to the festive season.

Roisum Foley says, “Please join us for a festive and high-energy performance guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit!”

The program will feature wind band arrangements by Gustav Holst, Julie Girouxx, John Mackey and Erika Svanoe, among others.

Concert admission is $10 for general admission and $7 for K-12 students. University students are admitted free with a valid MavCARD. Advance purchase is strongly encouraged.
