MANKATO, Minn. –Minnesota State University, Mankato’s University Chorale will perform Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. in the Elias J. Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts, 320 Maywood Ave. The 40-member group is directed by Angela Kasper.

The title of the program is “WORLD ECHOES,” featuring choral music from Latvia, Ireland, Brazil, South Africa, New Zealand and the United States.

Kasper is a former music professor and director of choral activities at the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, Minnesota) and Western Washington University (Bellingham, Washington).

Kasper is a national clinician specializing in treble choirs. She presents for national, regional and state conventions of the Music Educators National Conference, the American Choral Directors Association, the Organization of American Kodály Educators and the American Orff-Schulwerk Association.

With over 30 years of choral directing experience, Kasper is known for creating joyful, supportive choral communities that encourage optimal learning and engaged performances.

Concert admission is $10 for general admission and $7 for K-12 students. University students are admitted free with a valid MavCARD. Advance purchase is strongly encouraged.
