What I Like About Being a Maverick: The level of involvement within the MSU community. Students are committed to building strong relationships within the residence halls and making this place their home. The faculty and staff also play an integral role and are dedicated to creating an open sense of belonging to everyone.
Why I Chose to Work at MSU: The community is something that really stuck out to me as a professional. There is a lot of collaboration between resources at MSU and that helps provide exceptional service to our students.
Professional Development/Involvement/Interests: My primary interest is within leadership development and how ongoing training can help prepare students for their next transition to a potential career. In the future, I'm looking forward to getting involved with UMR-ACUHO and other opportunities.
Hobbies: When it's nice out, I enjoy running on Mankato's recreational trails; Red Jacket is one of my favorites and provides some beautiful scenery once fall hits. I also enjoy creative writing and have a few different projects that I'm currently working on. Watching movies and tv shows or playing video games on Xbox are some of my other favorite pastimes.
